Know what's inside.
Every KOJA tin carries a printed batch data sheet: garden, region, harvest and mill date. Premium matcha with nothing to hide, delivered when others run dry.
Printed on every tin
The batch data sheet
Four fields tell you what marketing won't. Sample: Batch 2026-04 · Kagoshima · milled 12.05.2026.
Garden
The estate or partner gardens behind the leaf, stated on every tin.
Region
Kagoshima, Yame or Nishio. Each region shapes umami, sweetness and color differently.
Harvest
Flush and year, so you know which season your matcha comes from.
Mill date
Matcha fades after milling. The date tells you how fresh your tin really is.

Why three origins
In 2025 demand for tencha outran the harvest and Uji started allocating. KOJA buys in Kagoshima, Yame and Nishio, so your tin ships while single-source brands wait. No mystique, just supply that holds.
Good questions
How much matcha is one bowl?
2 g per bowl is the usucha standard. A 30 g tin makes 15 bowls, a 100 g refill makes 50.
Origin Nº 1 or KOJA Daily?
Origin Nº 1 is a single estate Kagoshima matcha for drinking straight. KOJA Daily is a ceremonial blend from Yame and Nishio, built for lattes and everyday bowls.
Why print the mill date?
Matcha loses color and aroma in the months after milling. The printed date tells you how fresh your tin is, not how fresh we say it is.
How does the caffeine feel?
A bowl carries about as much caffeine as an espresso, alongside the amino acid L-theanine. Most drinkers describe the effect as steady focus without the spike and crash.
